Choosing not to share my SA on LinkedIn. I find it a bit unusual, especially since I only know around 30 people on the platform. Seriously, where are all those likes coming from? Is it considered taboo to skip posting the image that came with my offer?

It’s completely valid not to post on LinkedIn if it doesn’t feel right for you! Social media can often feel like a popularity contest, and it’s understandable to question the norms. Everyone has their own comfort level with sharing personal milestones, and there’s no rule that says you have to post.
As for likes, many people have larger networks or engage more actively in their posts, which can lead to more visibility. Don’t let that pressure you into sharing something you’re not comfortable with! If you choose to share your achievement later on, do it in a way that feels authentic to you. And no, it’s definitely not frowned upon to keep that moment to yourself! Your accomplishments are still valid, even if you don’t share them publicly.
