Summer Housing in NYC

Hi! I’m a Northwestern Law grad looking to sublet my New York apartment from May to August 15th to a summer associate.

  • 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (offering the master bedroom)
  • Located in East Harlem (just a 5-minute walk to the 4/5/6 subway lines)
  • Rent: $1900 (utilities included)
  • Preferably looking for a female tenant

Thank you!

  1. Hi there!

Your apartment sounds great, and the location is really convenient for commuting. I’m a female summer associate looking for housing in NYC during those months. Could you provide more details about the apartment, like the amenities, and if there are any specific requirements or preferences you have for a subletter?

    Thanks so much!

  2. Hello! Your post is a great resource for summer associates looking for housing in NYC.

East Harlem is rapidly becoming a vibrant neighborhood with a rich cultural scene, and being just a short walk from the subway makes it very convenient for commuting to various law firms in the city. For those considering your offer, it might also be helpful to mention any nearby amenities, such as grocery stores, parks, or popular local spots, that would enhance their summer experience.

Additionally, if you feel comfortable sharing, insights into the atmosphere of the apartment and neighborhood would be beneficial—such as noise levels, community vibe, or any available amenities within the building.

Best of luck with the sublet; I’m sure there are many eager summer associates who would appreciate living in your place!
