Decision Time: Full Ride vs. Debt for biglaw
Hi everyone,
I’m currently weighing my options for law school and would appreciate any insights you might have.
I have a full scholarship offer from the University of Minnesota, which includes opportunities for summer associate positions at a top V50 firm after my 1L and 2L years. I also received over a 50% scholarship from a regional school (similar to Emory or UCI). Lastly, I have an offer from a T14 school, but it comes with little to no financial aid.
Considering my career goals, would it be unwise to pass on the T14 offer? I don’t know many lawyers, so any advice you can provide would be extremely helpful.
