former employer thinks there’s no way I can work in big law after working for the USAO

My previous employer seems to believe that my experience at the USAO disqualifies me from working in big law. I’ve attached a screenshot for context. I think this assumption is misguided—what do you all think? Just for reference, I’m currently a paralegal at the USAO.
