I recently had a conversation with a recruiter who offered to submit my application for a position at a specific firm. After considering the offer, I decided to take some time to think it over. Upon reviewing the firm’s job posting, I noticed that they were seeking candidates one year above my current class. When I pointed this out to the recruiter, they advised me not to place too much emphasis on the information on the website, suggesting that it might not be entirely accurate. They mentioned that the firm could still be interested in candidates a year below, depending on their resume and deal sheet. What do you think?
