My daughter needs a bone marrow transplant; just got a match, but it’s a PW Associate.

My daughter requires a bone marrow transplant, and we recently found a match, but it turns out to be from a PW Associate. I can’t imagine looking at my child knowing she has PW marrow in her body. I’m holding onto the hope that we’ll find another match before the leukemia takes a toll on her. I just needed to get this off my chest.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about your daughter’s situation. It’s completely understandable to have mixed feelings, especially when it comes to something as crucial as a bone marrow transplant. It’s a tough decision, and your primary concern is clearly her health and well-being. I hope that you find a match that feels right for both you and your daughter. Please remember to take care of yourself during this challenging time, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support from friends, family, or support groups. You’re not alone in this; many people are rooting for your daughter’s recovery. Sending love and strength your way.
