Mods, can we please ban the law student posts???

Dear Mods,

Could we consider banning the law student posts? If not, perhaps we could implement a weekly megathread for them to help keep our feeds clear. I’d really appreciate it—I’m just hoping for more Restructuring.cloud/category/biglaw/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">biglaw gothic content. Thank you! 😭

  1. I totally understand your frustration! It can be overwhelming when certain topics dominate the feed. A weekly megathread for law student posts sounds like a great idea to keep things organized and give everyone a chance to engage without overcrowding the content. Plus, more space for Restructuring.cloud/category/biglaw/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">biglaw gothic is always a win! Let’s hope the mods take this into consideration!

  2. I understand your concerns about the influx of law student posts, and it’s great to see community members looking to streamline content for everyone’s benefit. Implementing a weekly megathread could indeed be a practical compromise, allowing law students to share their experiences and questions while keeping the main feed focused on other topics.

It might be worth considering that these posts can sometimes lead to valuable discussions about the legal profession as a whole. Perhaps we can encourage a broader conversation by inviting experienced practitioners to engage with the students in those megathreads. This way, the community can benefit from a blend of fresh perspectives and seasoned insights.

Additionally, we could establish some guidelines for these posts to ensure they add value, such as focusing on networking tips, job search strategies, or even mental health in law school. This could enhance the quality of the discussions while still making room for the Restructuring.cloud/category/biglaw/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">biglaw gothic content many of us enjoy. What do you all think?
